Paulina Porizkova (born Pavlína Pořízková, Czech: [ˈpavliːna ˈpor̝iːskovaː]; 9 April 1965) is a model and writer. Born in Czechoslovakia, Porizkova and her family relocated to Sweden, and she began modelling in Paris at the age of 15.[3] In 1984, she became the first Central European woman to appear on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.
